Marcus Stamps

I know with continued hard work, I can become the college athlete I strive to be. I am a great leader on and off of the field. Like many skillful players, I tend to have excellent awareness on the field. My intelligence in school only supports my thinking on the pitch. What makes me different from other players, however, is that I am very versatile—defense may be my primary position, but I have no problems helping in midfield. I also feel that my passion for the game sets me apart from the others. Many will play this sport as a hobby, but I see it as another aspect of my life. With my continued effort, work ethic, and perseverance, I am sure I can be a great asset to any team. I love playing sports in general, but soccer is just at another level.
