Growing up I have always been very enthusiastic of racing or even going to practice, as I still am to this very day. I began dedicating myself to the swimming world when I moved to Miami, about three years ago. I started my athletic career as a triathlete, in Italy, and was highly dedicated to my sport. Of course I attended swim lessons though no more than 3 times a week. Moving made me realize not only the potential I hold in swimming and what I can accomplish with the right people beside me, but how I also enjoy showing up to practice (even the ones early in the morning), how I enjoy getting out of my comfort zone, and I’m willing to go over and beyond of what is required just to have the satisfaction of achieving a new best time after a race.
