Personal Statement
My name is Manuela Ribeiro, I am 5'9 and I play for STA 09 GA. I play centerback and rightback, but I am flexible wherever I am put on the field. I have been playing soccer since a very young age (at a club level since 9 years old) and I have loved it ever since. I communicate well on and off the field, and I am a respectful player. I also value academics, as an all honors and AP student with a 4.8 GPA. Two subjects that I would consider majoring in are Buisness and Psychology. I participate in many clubs like Interact, DECA, and Key Club. The past two years I volunteered over the summer at the YMCA to help teach young kids how to play different sports. I am very interested in playing at the collegiate level - as long as academics are highly valued.
