Personal Statement
I began playing lacrosse when I was in 6th grade as a defender. Our team needed a goalie, and I quickly took the opportunity. Since then, I have been a goalie for almost 7 years. I play for Lax+ during the summer and fall seasons and an indoor league in the winter. I was the varsity starting goalie for my sophomore year. During this time, I was awarded the Coaches Award, and as well as the NCCC 2021 All-Conference Award. As of April 2022, I have received the NCCC 2022 All-Conference Award, an MVP Award, and made the CT Team where I played in the USA Lacrosse Women's National Tournament. Although lacrosse is a significant part of my life, I still make academics my main priority. I'm a hard-working student who gives her best effort with all assignments and strives to be an honors student.
