Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Mallory Hartwig, I am a sophomore in high school and a tri-sport athlete. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, so it has always been my dream to play in college at a D1 level and I continue to push myself in all aspects to be a better athlete. My parents played volleyball and basketball at a D1 school, SIUE, and now, my sister follows that tradition at the University of Evansville. As a sophomore, I am a leader and earned much recognition in club and my high school seasons through stats, achievements, and articles for volleyball. I think what sets me apart from the average outside hitter is not only my energy & large vertical, but my athleticism and versatility in other positions including right-side, middle, and my killer back-row attacks.
