Personal Statement
Hello coaches! I am Malia Whitehouse, a very athletic 2026 shortstop. I attend La Costa Canyon High School (D1) in Carlsbad, CA where I made the varsity softball team as a freshman and was a starter shortstop. My athletic career began at the age of 5 when I started racing BMX bikes. I raced nationally and became #1 in the Expert Girls Class in the USA and Canada, but fell in love with softball and decided to play it full time. Racing BMX and playing softball has taught me the importance of being a dedicated and determined worker both on and off the field as being a student is just as important. I have earned a 3.7 GPA as a freshman and sophmore in high school. In college, I would love to study communications or broadcasting. I hope you enjoy my profile and videos.
