Malena Cardinale

I’m a motivated student athlete, eager to start my college softball experience. With support from family, many of whom were athletes in college, I am prepared for this. On the field, I’ll do whatever and play wherever to help the team win. Primarily a MIF, I can and do play OF. This year I hit .401 and work just as hard on D, fielding at a .970 rate. I’m proud of my results. I am coachable and love talking about the game. In class, I can’t wait to get into communication and journalism work. This summer I was a media intern with a college baseball team and the experience was incredible. It absolutely validated my decision to study in this field, so I’m focusing on schools that can meet that academic path. Let’s do this.
