Personal Statement
My name is Maleea Taga (#3) and I love playing softball and being a student-athlete. I played tee ball and rec for a long time, but it wasn’t until I moved to the state of Washington that I found my passion for the sport. I started pitching when I was 10 and it quickly became my favorite position. I love being involved in every play and have embraced the pressure that often accompanies the position. I am heading into my senior year at Broomfield High School. School is something I pride myself on, really enjoy and take seriously. I currently have a 4.47 GPA and like to challenge myself academically with advanced and AP classes. In the fall of 2024 my drop, screw and curve were clocked at 58-59 MPH and my change at 43.
