Personal Statement
My name is Malaina Boyst, I am a 2027 pitcher who also loves to hit and play 1B/3B. I've played softball and volleyball competitively since I was about 6 years old. I've always pushed myself to pursue my dream of playing softball in college. I love to listen to Taylor Swift outside of sports, and spend time with friends. When I play softball, I am a fierce competitor and I hate to lose. I pride myself on being a good teammate, and I know how to get the job done on and off the field. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, and my plan is to obtain a great education while playing the game I have loved since the first day I played t-ball. I will be playing on varsity as a freshman for Reedy High School this year in Frisco, Texas, and can't wait to start the high school season in a few months!
