Personal Statement
My name is Makenna, I am Junior at Bedford HS. As a freshman I made the varsity team and played midfield, offense, and defense which made me a versatile player and won the D1 state championship. Sophomore year I played center back/midfield which allowed me to control the field and get scoring opportunities. I was picked First Team All-State for defense. This year I made First Team All-State and was picked as All New England Regional Player. Ive played club soccer for 10 yrs, the last 2 with the 07 Girls Academy Team and this yr with the 06/07 Academy Team. Competitive soccer has made me a better player physically and mentally. Academically I'm a strong student and Im looking forward to continuing my soccer career at a college where I will grow as a player and as a person.
