Makena Thomas

Hi, I'm Makena Thomas! I'm a libero from San Diego, California. I’ve been playing volleyball since the age of 9 and since then my heart has remained on the court. I am an eager student-athlete with a strong work ethic and a growth mindset that is always seeking to improve myself, both on and off the court. As a 4x team club captain, there is nothing I want more than my team succeeding individually and as one cohesive unit. Academically, I continue to challenge myself with courses, always maintaining at least a 4.2 GPA each year. I am a 3x Varsity high school libero, All League First Team Player, defensive player of the year, Caiman award recipient, and Scholar Athlete award recipient. I have VA Dependent Benefits providing free tuition to any UC or Cal State school.
