Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Makaylee Ruiz. I fell in love with volleyball peppering with my mom when I was six years old. I started playing recreation in 2nd grade. I played for NORCO's top team for 2 seasons. We moved to Argyle, TX my 13U season where I made Fieldhouse's top team as a libero. I'm currently playing my second season on the top team at Fieldhouse as a 6 rotation outside hitter. It has always been my dream to play outside hitter, but my size was a limitation. With strength training as well as beach volleyball, I've been able to increase my vertical and be a more impactful player. I love competition, and volleyball is my passion. I'm developing my leadership skills, so I can be an asset to my team and help us grow and be successful.
