Personal Statement
Ever since I was a freshman, I wanted to play basketball in college. I have the passion and fire to put in the extra work. I enjoy challenging myself. Outside of basketball, I run cross country, lead the surf club, and even shaped my own surfboard. I try to live my life according to Colossians 3:23,“whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” I give my best in all I do because I am doing it for God. This is why hustling is a main part of my game. I put my whole heart into my game by doing the little things. Like diving after loose balls and fighting for rebounds. I always play as hard as I can and never back down from my competition no matter their size or skill level.
