Personal Statement
My name is Makayla Price, and I am a Middle Blocker and Outside Hitter in my senior year at Cactus High School. Volleyball has allowed me to set personal goals in my life and it pushes me to be the best person I can be. I am a great team-player and make sure that when I am on the court, I set a good example for the rest of my team. I do this by communicating as loud as possible when I am on the court, taking into account if I make a mistake, and helping my teammates when they need it. I love volleyball specifically because of the team dynamic and being able to compete. My goal for volleyball is to play at the collegiate level and to continue building life-long relationships. Volleyball is my favorite outlet, and I am grateful for all of the life-lessons it has taught me so far.
