MaKayla (Mak) McGinnis

Hi! My name is MaKayla (Mak) McGinnis. I’m a Senior softball pitcher currently living in San Antonio, TX. I’m funny, outgoing, and will bring hard work, plus determination to your team. I feel in love with the game the first time I stepped onto the field at 6 years old. I’ve played on teams in AL, VA and TX, I moved a lot as a military kid. Softball always gave me the confidence that I’d have new friends at my new home. I began pitching at 10. We moved to VA where my new coach decided I looked like a pitcher. Since the first game I pitched, I have loved the pressure of having the ball in my hand every play. I’m looking forward to my upcoming Senior season at Harlan High School. I’m also looking ahead and excited about the prospect of playing college ball.
