Personal Statement
My name is Maiya Boughal and I am a midfielder for Long Island Top Guns 2026 Black. I began playing lacrosse in 2nd grade and my love for the game has grown ever since. I’m a very coachable and unselfish player with a high lacrosse IQ. My strengths are athleticism, stick work, and spatial awareness on the field. I always strive to work hard and better myself everyday. Lacrosse has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and dedication. Off the field I work just as hard on my studies as I ended my sophomore year with a 99.77 unweighted GPA, while taking numerous AP courses. I strive to excel and challenge myself in all areas to help me become the best that I can be and aspire to advance my academics and athletics at the collegiate level.
