Personal Statement
My name is Maggie Slimbaugh and I am a Junior at Duxbury High School. I have played lacrosse since 1st grade and started playing Laxachusetts in 5th grade. I have been a starter for Duxbury's varsity team as a Freshman and a Sophomore and I am honored to serve as a Captain for our 2024 season. I am a midfielder occasionally playing attack and defense too. Our high school team just came off of a successful season losing in the state semifinals. I also play mostly midfield on Laxachusetts often looking to cause turnovers and win the draw off of the circle. I am in all honors classes including advanced honors math and three other AP courses. When I'm not playing lacrosse I am running both long distances on varsity cross-country and mid/short distances on varsity winter track.
