Personal Statement
Maggie joined St. Michael's Catholic Academy's lacrosse team her freshman year in 2021. Despite picking up a lacrosse stick for the first time, her hard work ethic and athletic ability (she was a volleyball outside hitter on a national team) earned her a spot on the varsity team as a starting attacker. In 2022, Maggie was selected as UNC Elite All-Star, Adrenaline Western Shootout All-Star, and earned Division 1 Central TX All-District honors as a middie. Maggie helped lead the team to a 7th place finish in State Division 1 competition as one of the team's top scorers. Maggie currently plays for 214 Lax Dallas and Legend Lacrosse. Maggie is taking AP/Honors courses and maintaining a 4.13/4.0 GPA. Maggie is interested in a career in medicine, specifically cardiovascular surgery.
