Personal Statement

I have enjoyed playing Field Hockey since 2nd grade. I play for Whitney Point High School and with the WNY Club Team. Our high school team just won the 2021 Class C NY State Championship where I was selected to the All-Tournament team! My favorite thing about field hockey is the teamwork needed to succeed. I enjoy finding ways to connect with others and playing anywhere on the field that helps strengthen my team. Being part of a team is also important to me because it motivates me to be the best person and player that I can be. In addition to field hockey, I enjoy playing lacrosse and basketball, as well as hiking. In the future, I want to work towards being a better player and improving my field hockey skills, while gaining a strong education.
