Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Maeve. I'm a 3-year starting varsity defender for Central Catholic High School. I began playing lacrosse in the 2nd grade and fell in love! I like to play fast and can be either physical or surgical, depending on what's needed. My strengths are my speed, my consistency, my ability to kill breakaways, stop the advancing player, and strong work in the clearing game. Last year, my team made it to the MIAA D1 state quarter finals. I helped lead my team to a #5 ranking in Massachusetts with a 20-1-1 record. This season we played many top teams in MA and NH. Those were the most rewarding games! I am also on the varsity soccer team. I take honors and AP classes, am a member of National Honor Society and a student ambassador for my school. Next year I will be taking 3 AP classes.
