Personal Statement
My name is Madeline Tohanczyn, Class of 2025, and I currently play for Seacoast United Soccer Club. Starting freshmen year I began playing as a goalkeeper as previously I played as striker. I am now solely a goalie. I am very strong as I hold the school record in the shot put. I am also fast as I also hold the school record in the 4x100. I have good instincts and positioning. I have a great knowledge of the game from multiple perspectives because of my background as a field player. I am not afraid to come off my line, but I know when to dive far. I was the starting goalkeeper on the team that made it to the Class A Northern State Championships in 2022 and 2023. I also helped lead my club team to two Maine State Premier League Championships in 2021 and 2022.
