Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Maddie McManus. I am a junior at Bethesda Chevy-Chase HS. I've played lacrosse since 1st Grade and club since 3rd Grade. I am two-year varsity midfield starter at BCC (MCPS South All-Division 2nd Team both years) and play club lacrosse with Renegades. I attended the UA150 and Apex 60 showcases in 2024! I am a versatile midfielder who thrives on offense, defense, and draws. I have a high lacrosse IQ, look to elevate my teammates, and am always seeking to improve. My unofficial 2024 summer stats (club games only): 6G/8A/28DC/15CT/24GB. Academics are important to me. I enjoy challenging classes, and am taking all Honors, IB, and AP classes this year. I have a weighted 4.7 GPA. When I'm not playing lacrosse or studying, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors.
