Personal Statement
Soccer has topped the list of my favorite things since I started playing at age three. Raised in DC, I joined a travel soccer team in third grade, and I now play for Metro ASA Girls Academy. At the beginning of my sophomore year, I also joined Virginia’s ODP program, and I was selected for the East Region team. I am junior (2024 graduate) at BASIS DC, an academically rigorous, AP-focused school in Washington DC. As academics are very important to me, I have earned a weighted GPA of 4.67. I am also a member of the National Honor Society chapter at my school for which we do various volunteer activities throughout the year.
