Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Madalyn Torrance. I'm a junior at Aurora Central Catholic High School in Aurora, IL. I'm a 5’4", 130 lbs. outfielder, middle infielder and utility player. I throw right handed and bat as a switch hitter; power hitting from the right and slapping and drag bunting from the left. I also play basketball. In school, I'm involved in Student Council, as well as a Student Ambassador. I'm interested in studying Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement and Psychology in college. Softball plays such an important role in my life. It has given me lifelong bonds with both my teammates and coaches. It's helped me remain disciplined in both my academic and athletic success. I'm a hardworking and driven student-athlete who hopes to continue playing softball at the highest level.
