Grit, resilience and courage. Three characteristics that have helped me in my personal, academic and athletic life. It is my perseverance and passion toward achieving a goal despite significant obstacles that helps me overcome any challenges. Soccer taught me to face these adversities with a fighting attitude much like making a mistake that caused a critical goal miss then finding the strength to forget about the mistake and focus on winning the remainder of the game. I am determined to take on challenges head on so that I can achieve my goals on and off the field.
