Personal Statement
I am Lydia Battaglia, a 6’0” pin hitter, in the class of 2027. I have been a varsity starter as an outside hitter at Archie Williams High School in San Anselmo, California since my freshman year. I also play on the Marin 17 Black Volleyball Club team playing both as a right side hitter and as an outsider hitter. Although volleyball is my passion, I have also played varsity basketball and varsity softball since my freshman year and proudly maintain a 4.2 GPA. I have made All League from Marin County Athletic League for both my freshman and sophomore years in softball, and will be captain of the softball team for next year. I am known for my leadership and upbeat positive energy supporting my teams to play as a cohesive unit and win games.
