Hello! My name is Lukas Hempel and I am from Munich, Germany. From as long as I can remember, I played soccer, but at the age of twelve, I learned how to play tennis. During Covid I fell in love with tennis. I quit soccer and made many sacrifices to improve my game. After years of hard work, I have a dream to play college tennis in the US. In Germany, I was elected by my classmates of all ages to represent my school as a financial advisor. I organized school parties, managed budgets, and arranged other school events. Since I was 10, I always told my family I wanted to be in the US. Now as a junior at Darlington School, it has been a dream come true and I couldn't be more thankful. I want to stay in America and bring my educational and athletic abilities to college!
