Personal Statement
My name is Lucia Dessert and I am a 2027 pitcher and corner infielder attending San Marcos Senior High School in Santa Barbara, CA. I currently play for So Cal Athletics Tamai 18u and my primary position is pitcher. I am a power pitcher featuring a cut fastball and aggressive changeup. I also have a drop curve and rise ball. At the plate I am a power hitter with a high contact rate and on base percentage. I was the starting Varsity pitcher for most of the season as a freshman in 2024, pitching both of my team’s CIF games and holding the eventual division champion to 1ER in our elimination game. I am a student athlete and will work hard to succeed in both my academics and softball. My goals are to continue to play softball at the next level while exploring college and choosing my career.
