Personal Statement
I am an aspiring mechanical engineer who is in his junior year of high school. I started playing lacrosse in the 4th grade. I started as the lead defensive player for the HS JV team while in 8th grade and then was pulled up in 9th to play varsity. I was able to adapt to the speed and level of play quickly and have been starting since my sophomore year. I also play football and am a starting middle linebacker running the defense on varsity since my sophomore year. I am comfortable with getting rough and handling split second decisions. I'm in pre-calculus during my junior year and I am taking classes such as design and drawing for production and principles of engineering to help get a HeadStart in the field I want to go into.
