Luca Marucci

I am a student-athlete with a 4.1 GPA at Loyola High School in LA. I've competed in many sports throughout my life, but baseball has drawn my passion and focus with a thirst for improving every day. I always show up with a positive attitude, ready to compete, and do whatever the team needs to be successful. I enjoy mastering the rules, strategies, and ins and outs of the game. As a catcher, I am a vocal leader on the field and off, working closely with my coaches on the game-plan and understanding the opponent. Whether in practice, bullpens, pregame or in-game, I work closely with my pitchers to ensure I know their strengths so we can get the best out of them. My goal is to continue to grow and excel as a baseball player and in the classroom towards competing at the very highest level.
