Personal Statement
I’m a competitive person and achieve success through utilizing teamwork and leadership skills. I’m searching for a college experience that will challenge me academically and athletically. I finished 10th grade with a 3.91 GPA and Scholar Athlete. I’m taking challenging courses: AP US History, AP Physics, and German 4. Past spring I was captain of the JV lacrosse team and backup goalie on Varsity. In 3 Varsity starts I was 62% (31SV/19GA). This fall I was 2nd Team All-County on the Varsity XC team and had the highest GPA on the team. Last winter, I helped win the Alpine Ski Sectional title and earned All-Greater Rochester & 1st Team All County. I play percussion in the symphonic band and volunteer with Brighton Believes, Natural Helpers (peer counseling) and Brighton Youth Lacrosse.
