Personal Statement
I have known since I was in kindergarten that I will play college volleyball. I live in Carl Junction, Missouri, a rural community, and for my first three years of competitive club volleyball, I traveled 91 miles south to my team's practices in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have now joined the Kansas City MAVs program, specifically the 16-1 Coach Henry Lee team, which is in Olathe, Kansas, 118 miles north of my hometown. I have a 4.0 GPA and take college preparatory courses, and I would like to major in a math or science field in college. My father is a high school teacher and coach, and my mother is a high school counselor and a high school volleyball coach.
