Personal Statement
What started as a moment with friends, snacks, and my shoes always being untied quickly shifted into an intense desire to beat the boys. I was very fortunate to be part of a program that forced me to learn how to keep up and focus on my technical skill development. I learned to love the flair, creativity, and simply the art of soccer. I realized my tears over the years which were once seen as a weakness were the driving force behind my passion, work ethic, and desire to never quit. My parents instilled in me the value to always be the hardest working player, student, and person I can be. That value stuck with me in all the aspects of my life, and I thrive proving what I am capable of to others and most importantly myself.
