Personal Statement
The sport of lacrosse has had a major impact on my life and I couldn’t see myself not playing in the future. My strengths are my determination and coach-ability. Going into freshman year of high school, I had tried out for my club three times before I finally made the team because I worked so hard to improve my game. I want to constantly get better and accept any feedback from coaches and teammates that will help the team. My height (5’9”) helps me with my draw game and shooting over defenders and goalies. I have achieved all A’s in honors classes and have taken multiple AP’s to challenge myself while balancing my club/town sports, keeping up with extracurriculars and maintaining a social life. In college, I want to study biology and get on track so I can become an anesthesiologist.
