Personal Statement
Hello Coaches, My name is Lily Long and belong to MOD Volleyball club. I have been playing Volleyball since I was eleven years old and kept with it. I have a grown to love volleyball not just because of the sport but because of what volleyball has helped me get through. In 2018, December 8th my family and I lost the life of my step-dad, Michael Dolan to a car accident. Through grieving times volleyball was my escape, the main source for me to cope. Because volleyball was able to comfort me in this difficult time, the sport gave me a powerful drive to continue on with the sport. This is why for the last five years I have been able to play both club and school volleyball. Thank you for reading about my story and I hope me make a great fit. - Lily Long
