Lily Ahlers

My name is Lilyan Ahlers and I am entering my senior year of High School. I started playing volleyball when I was in 6th grade and never looked back. I not only enjoyed learning and playing the game, but it was an outlet for my competitive nature. I am the setter for both of my teams and have experience playing in various rotations including 6-2 and 5-1. In addition to being a consistent setter, I am a strong server and often the first server of the rotation. My ability to read the other team’s offense gives me an edge from a defensive player as well. I'm always trying to better the ball or make a better set than the one before. Throughout the years I have been perceived as a leader on the court. Not only with my communication, but my ability to uplift my teammates on and off the court.
