Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Lilly Maurer. I play for STEPS Navy 2025 NJ and have played for STEPS Elite since 5th grade. Our team won the 15U USA Youth Nationals in 2022 and are currently nationally ranked 6th by US Club Lax. I attend Chatham High School in Chatham, NJ where I am a sophomore varsity starter as a defender. We recently won the NJ Group 3 State Championship (2023)! I was also named an Honorable Mention All-Morris County this year (2023). I will be taking multiple honors and AP classes this upcoming year and have consistently been on the high honor roll throughout high school, ending sophomore year with a 4.4 GPA. I also spend my time coaching youth lacrosse for my local Chatham rec teams. I love the sport of lacrosse and I hope to continue playing at the collegiate level!
