Personal Statement
Hello. I'm Lidia Major, a Class of 2023 hurdler/sprinter for Santa Margarita Catholic HS in Orange County, Calif. I recently (March '23) PR'd with a 44.46 300H -- currently the 4th-fasted time in the state -- and I'll be faster. I finished third in the CIF Southern Section championships in the 300H in 2022 and have been Trinity League champion and runner-up the past two years. I haven't completely focused on hurdles for much more than a year -- I also played tennis and ran cross country at SM, and was a club volleyball player before that -- so my coaches know that I'm just now starting to reach my potential. I'm a hard worker on the track and in the classroom, with a 3.67 GPA at what is a high-caliber prep school. Thank you for viewing my profile! I'd love to speak with you!
