Personal Statement
My name is Lia Gonzalez and I am a 2026 OH/RH playing for Miami Volleyball Academy. I am a 6 year varsity athlete and attend Westminster Christian School in Miami, FL. I am currently studying Entrepreneurship and would like to pursue a college degree in business, or more specifically, the sports management field. Volleyball has taught me many valuable lessons—from being patient, to working hard and staying focused, even when I am faced with difficult challenges. I have a highly competitive spirit and work hard to perform at my highest potential, both on the court and in school. I strive to play volleyball at the collegiate level, while also pursuing a career in the sports and business world.
