Personal Statement
After I picked up a softball at the young age of 5, I knew from that day that I would fall in love with this sport. I started my pitching career by getting thrown on the mound without any instruction, which has motivated me to become the pitcher I am today. Softball has given me many things; life lessons, my best friends, how to battle back from injury, to know the power of teamwork, and to work with amazing coaches. At my school I am involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Key Club and National Honors Society, through which I have taken part in many volunteer opportunities. I am very grateful to my family and friends for being so supportive throughout my softball journey and I am driven to have to opportunity to play in college.
