Personal Statement
I am Leslie Hines, a 2022 student athlete at Eastlake High School in Sammamish, WA. I played club softball for Elite Diamonds Fastpitch (#12) the last 6 seasons and am transitioning to WA Voodoo Gold Rhinehart (#12) this summer. My primary position is pitcher and when not pitching, I play shortstop. I have the versatility to play many other positions. I am a leader on my team and am supportive of other teammates when needed. I am a member of National Honors Society and Relay for Life. I have been in the top 3 of fundraisers for my community’s Relay for Life event and am on the planning committee. I work at an afternoon children’s school as a teacher’s assistant. My goal is to play softball at the college level at a university that can support my goal of majoring in Elementary Education.
