Personal Statement
As an athlete who plays several sports, I’ve learned much about myself and many life lessons. The friendships formed through teamwork are what I value most. Serving as a team captain, I’ve learned to work with diverse people, a skill beneficial both in sports and life. I started playing softball at 10 years old and joined a competitive team soon after, learning that playing time is earned, not given. I’m proud of my growth over the past four years and excited about my softball future. I strive for excellence in the classroom as much as on the field. I want to attend a college that challenges me athletically and academically, helping me achieve my full potential as a well-rounded individual.
