Lea Adams

After being introduced to volleyball in the 4th grade, I began to take it seriously once COVID ended in my freshman year of high-school. From then, I established myself as a right side power hitter from my school team at Newark Academy, and took my time at club during my 15s, 16s, and now 17s year to improve on my skills as a hitter and blocker also become more consistent with my serve and pass. Overall, my experience in the sport has been a learning one, taking time for one-on-one's with my coaches or having strength and conditioning lessons to make myself a better player. My hard work has paid off since I lead my school team in kills and was selected second team in my conference. When I do anything, I focus on having an open mind in order to soak in as much info as possible.
