Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Layah Hicks and I'm a multi-sport athlete from the PNW. I have been playing club ball for both fast pitch and volleyball since the age of 12. Although fast pitch is my primary sport, I have been able to successfully manage my time to be able to play both sports without neglecting the other. I am a low maintenance impact player voted by my teammates multiple years as a team captain and most inspirational. I thrive in an environment where hard work gets rewarded and a team first culture, but I'm also not afraid to earn my spot. My primary position is catcher, but I do also play the corners as well.
