Personal Statement
During the preseason of my sophomore year, I broke my leg and dislocated my ankle. Before my injury, I had never had to take a break from the court. The recovery was long and painful, but my daily motivation was to work the hardest no matter what. After tearing three ligaments, I knew that I would have to train hard so that I could minimize my time away from the gym. I was cleared to play volleyball only 3 months after the break, dislocation and surgery. My teammates brand me as "grind 24/7" because I will always outwork anyone who wants to compete.
