Lauren Ahearn

I've been playing softball since my T-ball career ended at age 5. When teachers asked at the beginning of the school year, "What do you do for fun?", my response was always, "I play softball." Softball has always been a big part of my life, and In all my years of playing I still believe the most important thing I've been taught by coaches is to have fun. In my opinion If you don't love it, It's not worth doing. Although I'm a junior in high school and I don't have a clue what I want to do with the rest of my life, I know I want to do what I love. I would love to pursue this sport at a college level, have fun while doing so, make friendships that will last a lifetime, and continue to be the best student I can be. Balancing both will be hard but I know if I want it bad enough I can do it.
