Laney Padilla

I’m a 5’4” Libero/DS that plays with the heart of a 6’2” player. I have played competitively since 4th grade and my goal is to play competitively while pursuing my degree. Difficult times on/off the court have shaped my strong character. For example, transferring schools at the end of my freshman year when moving from IL to CO was difficult, however it was an opportunity to work on being resilient and adaptable in both social and athletic situations, which are great qualities to have when moving away for college. My parents have instilled the belief in me that playing a team sport is a great facilitator in life, in that it teaches receptiveness to instruction, accountability, dedication, and determination. All of which I believe are some of the greatest assets that I contribute to my team!
