Personal Statement
My name is Lana DiRusso and I am a Senior (2025) at Freeport High School. I play midfield for my high school team and attack for Maineiax, Maine Elite 2025. For High School, I am a Varsity letter athlete in lacrosse, basketball, soccer, and indoor track. For lacrosse this year, we were runners up in Class B and last season we won the Class C State Championship. I was also selected for the Western Maine All-Conference Team the last two years. Although I really enjoy sports, academics are my top priority and I currently have a 4.0 GPA while taking a mix of honors, AP and traditional courses. My sophomore year, I was selected by our local Rotary Club to represent Freeport High School at the RYLA Leadership Camp aimed at developing the next generation of innovative leaders.
