Personal Statement
My name is Laini Michaelis, and I’m a junior at Omaha Skutt Catholic High School. I am a multi-sport athlete. I have been a 3-sport varsity letter winner my freshman and sophomore years in softball, basketball, and track. I also played club volleyball through 15U and enjoy skiing. Softball is my main sport. I play select for Nebraska Gold National 16U. I am a three-year varsity starter in high school. I am involved in a variety of extracurricular activities besides sports, including my involvement in Student Council, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), National Honor Society, Campus Life youth group leader. I am very interested in playing softball at the collegiate level, and I hope to pursue a degree in pre-health. Thank you for taking a look at my profile.
