Personal Statement
I'm Kyle Evans, a 6-10, 200-lb, 2-sport athlete from Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Orange County, Calif. I've competed against some of the best HS competition in the country (Mater Dei, St. John Bosco, Servite, Orange Lutheran, JSerra) in both baseball and basketball. I've always split time between sports. Last year, my velo was 80-84, but with just a little extra emphasis this year (my basketball team didn't make as deep of a playoff run), I'm 85-89 with a 12-6 curve and a changeup that is still developing. But I know there is more in me -- even later this season -- for velocity and command of my pitches. Please check out my profile and let me know what you think.
